They were excited to start a family, but they didn't know what a handful their young son would be. Jeffery was quite the curious child, always getting into things that he wasn't supposed too. His mother recalls a time when he got into the cupboard and took out the bottle of baby powder, covering himself and the room white, making it look like Christmas had come early. Despite being a mischievous young boy , Jeffery's parents could tell that their son was special from the very beginning. So, to keep their son out of trouble they bought him a guitar at the age of 6 and somehow he had learned to play it without taking one single lesson. Whenever they wanted to keep Jeff busy they would bring out his guitar and they let him play for hours, strumming along and making up random chord progressions. Sure he didn't understand how to read music, but when he picked up the instrument something clicked inside of him, making it possible for him to play and get better each time he did. Throughout High School Jeffery was seen as the class clown by all of his classmates and he only attended class when he had too. He liked having the ability to make people laugh, it was something that he had always been good at. To stay out of trouble his parents had encouraged him to use his talent of quick wit and guitar skills to make a stand up comedy routine, something along the stylings of comedian Stephen Lynch. He would just strum on his guitar and make up random lyrics, which would then turn into full songs that he would play at open mic nights at coffee shops in Columbia. He was completely enthralled in his comedy routine, gaining numerous fans as he became a regular at the coffee shop. His grades began to suffer because of all the time he had put into his routine, but he did just enough to be able to graduate High School. He opted out of going to college since he knew that his true calling would be on some kind of stage somewhere, making others laugh to be able escape from reality for just a little while. After he graduated High School he started to travel all over South Carolina to different open mic nights at certain comedy clubs to try and garner some buzz and attention. By sheer coincidence he was recognized at a comedy club by an agent from Agency for Performing Arts, where they signed him and began to book him dates for colleges and comedy clubs all around the country. Jeffery toured and released an album from the ages 22-26, and after his final scheduled tour he decided to take a year off to write more music and get reacquainted with his family again. He missed them greatly while he was gone and was happy to get to spend time with them again. After his year off he decided that it was time to get back into gear again, since he performing was his true calling in like, and one of the only things that really made him happy. That's when his agent called and told him he was offered a full time position at Rico Resorts in Colorado, where he would be able to perform for various guests throughout the year. Jeffery had done enough traveling over the past 4 years and he was excited about a job offer where he would be able to stay in one place for a while. This also meant that he would be able to work on releasing his next album, since it was long overdue. The resort is still very new, and so is this kind of performing, but Jeffery is eager to see what it all brings for him. Personality: Jeffery is probably one of the most outgoing guys you will ever meet. To be able to make a name for himself he had to talk to tons of new people on an every day basis, so he is definitely not shy when it comes to being around lots of people. He loves being the life of the party and just enjoys having fun in general. He can be seen as really sarcastic and sometimes cocky, but once you get to know him he really isn't the ass that he might be made out to be. He would do anything for his friends and family, they are the people that come first in his life. Although he can definitely be seen as very goofy guy, he is very serious when it comes to performing and writing songs. Sure they may seem like silly songs, but he puts a lot of work into them and tries his very hardest to make them as funny as they can be. When he is writing he doesn't like to be disturbed because that throws off his whole concentration and he will sometimes lose a whole verse for a song if interrupted. Five desires and fears 3 Desires - He would love to become really famous one day and tour the entire world playing his comedy act for others. -Even though he might be seen as someone who doesn't want to settle down, he really would love a wife and kids down the road. -Wants to make a ton of money to pay for his parents retirement. 2 Fears - He is nervous that people won't think his act is funny at the resort, resulting in bombing over and over again. - Clowns. He thinks they are super creepy and unfunny. -Loves coming home to his moms cooking, she makes the best spaghetti and meat balls. -Has always wanted a dog, but hasn't been in one place long enough over the past few years to be able to own one. -If he wasn't a successful comedian he was interested in becoming a firefighter. -Is pretty decent at improving, although his best work comes from really planning it out. -Has one demo and one full album, hopes to release another full album in the next year or so. -His guilty pleasure show is Glee, but shhh, don't tell anyone! One Secret: Had an affair with an older woman while he was on tour. He kept in contact with her after they got together and continued to see her until a year ago when he couldn't handle the sneaking around anymore. He gave her an ultimatum to either leave her husband and be with him, or they were done. She chose her husband and he was left heart broken. Although it was a painful experience to go through, he feels that it all worked out for the best for everyone in the end.
